Although the stock SVT rod (left) is well made, the Eagle rod (right) is much stronger and lighter, due to its H-beam construction, superior materials and ARP series 2000 3/8 rod bolts.
The stock SVT rod is of a forged I-beam steel design with a pressed piston pin and is generally reliable up to 360+hp.
The Eagle Rod is of a 4340 forged chrome moly steel H-beam design with ARP series 2000 3/8 rod bolts, a bronze bushed floating pin and is reliable up to 900+hp.
It would be good to note since upgrading the trouble prone rods bolts from 5/16 to ARP series 2000 3/8 bolts these rods are rated as 900hp capable By Eagle.
