Try these non-toxic or less-toxic products as alternatives to some chemicals you might not have at hand at a moment of need.. While a little more “elbow grease” may have to be used with some of these products, lower costs should make the switch an easy one.

Chrome polish | Apple cider vinegar; then polish with baby oil |
Cleaners (general interior) | Mix 1/2 cup ammonia, 1/3 cup vinegar, 1/4 cup baking soda in one gallon of warm water |
