• Steel braided brake lines: Available from corksport.com in the MX-3 section. Helps stiffen up the brakes, as the stock rubber ones will absorb some of the hydraulic pressure.

  

• 9" front brakes to 10" front brakes: Some of the early 2nd gens excluding the GTs came with 9" brakes on the front. This can be found quickly by the wheel size. 13" wheels= 9" brakes and 14"+ = 10" brakes. In '94 all escorts excluding the base models had 10" front brakes. They can be upgraded by acquiring the spindles and rotors from a car with the 10" brakes. If doing this also refer to the 3rd ball joint swap mentioned above.
