The 2.0 transmission can be used but will require the 2.0 clutch and flywheel.

2.0

The 1.9 transmission can be used but would be quite foolish. This would require the clutch, and flywheel.

The 2.0 clutch is bigger and has a different spline for the imput shaft. The imput shaft ir burlyer and has bigger splines. the flywheel is also much heavier. The 1.9 clutch is smaller and has smaller spline for the imput shaft. the fly is much thinner and lighter. The 2.0 has slightly looser gears than the 1.9. this means the 1.9 will put more torque to the ground but will lessen the speed in gear by a few mph. However, the 2.0 trans is stronger and not that much torque is lost.
